We provide the shelter, skills, and support to refugees and people seeking sanctuary in Berkshire.

Supporting refugees and people seeking sanctuary in Berkshire, our services provide practical and community-based support. This includes short-term emergency accommodation, the Phoenix Programme for rebuilding independent lives, ESOL classes to improve English, the B4N Night Shelter for winter support, recreational activities to promote wellbeing and social connections, and guidance for Community Sponsorship groups and match funding opportunities. Each service is designed to offer stability, skills, and opportunities for people to thrive in their new communities.

Our Work

Emergency Respite

We provide limited short-term accommodation for people who cannot access housing through their local council.

Phoenix Programme

A tailored support programme helping newly recognised refugees rebuild their lives through housing, employment, and guidance.

B4N Refugee Night Shelter

A winter night shelter in Reading providing a safe bed, meals, and support for newly recognised refugees facing homelessness.

Community Sponsorship

We support local groups in the South East to welcome and integrate refugees through the Community Sponsorship Scheme.

ESOL

ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) support to help refugees and people seeking sanctuary improve their English.

Recreational Activities

A programme of recreational activities supporting wellbeing, social connections, and English practice for refugees.

We provide match funding to support Community Sponsorship groups welcoming Afghan refugees, helping cover initial costs for resettlement.
