As a co-lead in the group, I am by no means an expert in the sector.  The process, though an excellent route to enable refugees to begin a new life as a supported member of the community, is nevertheless a daunting task.  So having the space to find volunteers, as well as completing the necessary Home Office paperwork, gaining Local Authority approval, raising community awareness and sourcing an appropriate house, was utterly invaluable. Resettlement had a procive and flexible approach to the financial support they offered us, which is gold dust and meant that we could really pack a punch very quickly. Incredibly appreciated and has had a direct impact on a refugee family.
