Frequently Asked Questions
I am an refugee that has not been a part of the UK’s Community Sponsorship Scheme. Can I still receive support?
Yes, we support all asylum seekers and refugees in the UK. You can receive support from us if you have been granted a temporary form of leave through an asylum or human rights application.
What kind of support do you offer?
Beyond our primary services, we help asylum seekers by putting them in touch with organisations and providing information to help them resettle in the UK. We can also act as a third party organising appointments, assisting in finding housing, and providing financial assistance.
What kind of grants do you offer?
We provide small one-off grants of up to £500. These grants can be given for any of the following:
- Financial hardship
- Rent top-up
- Costs relating to tuition, education, and learning resources
- Costs relating to ESOL, translation, and interpretation
- Costs relating to medical expenses and healthcare services, including mental health
If you are unsure if your query meets the criteria of the grant scheme, please contact us here.
I am an asylum seeker not residing the UK. Can I still receive support?
Unfortunately, we do not currently have the capacity to support asylum seekers outside of the UK. However, we work alongside other organisations that help refugees across Europe and will always strive to assist anyone who reaches out to us where we can.
How do I apply for a grant?

Grants are offered on an ad-hoc basis throughout the year and can be requested via the Contact page. In order to meet eligibility requirements, you must be able to provide evidence of your leave to remain status (or equivalent) along with supporting documentation to support the grant request.
